Wethersfield Library Announces Annual Food Drive to Benefit Wethersfield’s Food Bank
Wethersfield Library is proud to announce its annual community food drive taking place throughout July 2026 in support of the Wethersfield Food Bank.
This year’s campaign slogan, “Food Drive Helps Everyone Thrive,” reflects the Library’s continued commitment to supporting local families and strengthening the Wethersfield community through collective action and generosity.
Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items during regular library hours. Donations collected during the drive will directly benefit local residents through the Wethersfield Food Bank.
The Library is especially seeking donations of non-expired:
- Rice
- Canned vegetables
- Canned tuna
- Peanut butter
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Soup
- Cereal
- Personal hygiene products
- Other shelf-stable food items
