Kindergarten Readiness Playdates On Your School’s Playground
Incoming kindergarteners and their families are invited to meet and play on the playground at their new school at six playdates this summer.
Playdates are scheduled for:
June 11 & June 25 – 9: a.m. -10 a.m.
July 8 & July 22 – 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m .
Aug. 6 & Aug. 20 9 a.m.-10 a.m.Parents and caregivers are encouraged to RSVP at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4fadac2babf5cf8-playdates1 or by emailing Charles Wright dad Jim Welch at jim@ctnewshound.com — though it is not necessary to attend. Siblings are welcome to participate. It’s recommended that parents bring water and sunscreen. School buildings will be locked.
The Wethersfield Schools Parent Council (WSPC) and all five Wethersfield elementary school PTOs, with support from the Wethersfield Early Childhood Collaborative, are sponsoring the playdates.
