Join local speaker Phil Devlin on Tuesday evening, October 5th from 6:30 – 7:45 and discover how winning the 1965 Little League all-star team world championship brought him to the New York World’s Fair and the exhibition of the Vatican Pavilion. This exhibit included Michelangelo’s Pieta, triggering a very unexpected, moving experience. This event prompted a lifelong interest in Michelangelo, shaping the man he would become. Anecdotes and stories about Michelangelo and his works will be discussed.
