Join us Friday, October 14 or Saturday, October 15 for the 13th Annual Old Wethersfield Lantern Light Tours. Characters on this year’s tours are drawn from Wethersfield’s maritime past. They will recount the trials, tribulations, and rewards experienced by those who braved the dangers of the sea. Tours depart from the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street) every fifteen minutes between 6:30pm and 8:00pm and then wend their way through the historic Hurlbut-Dunham House, First Church, and the Ancient Burying Ground. Tickets are $25. For tickets and more detailed information, please visit the society’s website (www.wethersfieldhistory.org). Ticket quantities are limited to 21 per tour. This popular event is sure to sell out, so get your tickets early. In the event of inclement weather, provisions have been made to conduct these tours indoors. There is no rain date.
