May 18th, 10:00am – 4:00pm. White Pine Bark: From Tree To Basket

Please join Wethersfield Academy for the Arts on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to learn the traditional, indigenous craft of making baskets from folded pine bark! You will learn to harvest, cut, fold, shape, and sew the bark, before completing your container by attaching a rim. Everyone will take home a distinctive container, along with the knowledge and templates for future projects!
