Sculpting the Skull

Fee: $250, clay and armature included

This sculpture class uses the human skull as inspiration to build sculpting skills with clay. Emphasis is placed on armature building, observation, proportion, form relationships, measurement techniques and clay application. Working with the skull shows how smaller forms interlock and relate to the whole. The class is taught to the individual creating an environment where each student improves at their own pace. All skill levels welcome. Medium is clay.
