Sculpting Demonstration

September 10th, 6:30pm – 10:30pm. Sculpting Demonstration

Dierdre demonstrates sculpting a portrait in clay and shows that it is both fun and wonderfully meditative. You will learn how to measure and prepare a blank. Various stages will be shown from start to finish. This should help anyone, whether beginner or experienced, to understand that it is not a stressful undertaking. Different tools will be discussed and participants will be able to work on some of the demo pieces. Hosted by the Wethersfield Art League at the Pitkin Community Center, 30 Greenfield Street, Wethersfield.
