Houses of Worship Walking Tour

May 11th, 10:00am. WHS presents Wethersfield Houses of Worship Walking Tour

Due to popular demand, architectural expert and Wethersfield Historical Society president Dorene Ciarcia joins retired teacher Carol Bruce in offering another opportunity for the public to enjoy their walking tour featuring Wethersfield’s beautiful houses of worship. In 1818, Connecticut adopted a new state constitution which granted all people freedom to practice their own religions. As a result, new houses of worship were constructed to meet the demand. The tour convenes at 10:00 am in front of Trinity Episcopal Church (300 Main Street, Wethersfield).

Admission is $10 for the general public. Cash only, please. Free to Wethersfield Historical Society members.
