In this foundational class, artists work each session with a live model in long pose format. From linear “block-in” drawing through anatomical analysis, instructor Pete Anderson demonstrates and instructs artists on creating accurate likeness of body structure, gesture and perspective. Demonstrations and critiques are offered throughout. Emphasis is placed on mastering the fundamentals with some refinement ultimately. The class is open to all skill levels; some experience in observational drawing is useful but not required. Model will pose nude unless otherwise noted by the instructor.
