Community Bike Ride and Parade
May 4th, 10:00am – 12:00pm. Bicycles on Main Community Bike Ride and Parade
Family friendly and accessible event designed to celebrate the month-long “Bicycles On Main” Event. Join local dignitaries, the Wethersfield Police Bicycle Team, along with Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers and their families as they make their way through scenic Old Wethersfield.

Participants are encouraged to dress-up in costumes as well as decorate their bikes to add to the festivities!
- 10:00 Gather at Keeney Center Fountain, 200 Main Street, (this is a change from last year).
- 10:30 depart lot with the bicycle parade. Escorted by the Wethersfield Bicycle Police Team, participants will follow Main Street to the Cove, across Hartford Ave., continue down Garden Street, and then make their way back to the Keeney Center onMain Street.
- 11:00 members of the public will gather at the Keeney Center to celebrate Bicycles on Main and enjoy some Village Pizza!
If you can’t participate, we would love to see you around the parade route. Cheer on the kids and families as they parade through town. We look for laser to seeing everyone.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and follow State of CT helmet guidelines.
