Join Wethersfield Social, Youth and Senior Services and CCHD for a free overdose education and naloxone (narcan) training at the Pitkin Community Center 30 Greenfield Street, Wethersfield CT.

Presented by CCHD recovery coaches, public health nurse, and epidemiologist.

Participants receive:

  • Naloxone (narcan) and overdose prevention supplies
  • Information on community resources
  • Dinner provided

  • Overdoes prevention strategies
  • How to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
  • How to administer the opioid reversal drug naloxone
  • The role of overdose prevention in the opioid public health crisis
  • The Good Samaritan Law
