Stick it to your Watercolor

May 11th, 10:00am – 2:00pm. “Stick it to your Watercolor!“

Lorraine Ficara, vibrant artist and enthusiastic teacher, will lead this creative workshop using India ink and sticks to paint with water color and/ or gouache!

Students will bring their own watercolor paints and supplies , watercolor papers in sizes 9×12 or larger, a few reference images and some whittled sticks or twigs in various tip shapes and thicknesses. India ink in black or a color of your choice will also be needed. Students may also bring small cups to use for mixing the paint for mark making with the sticks.

Lorraine will demonstrate this technique and encourage a creative way to play with this mixed media and mark making for an exciting painting.

This workshop will be held at the Little Red Schoolhouse , 193 Wells RdWethersfield on May 11 from 10-2.

Students can bring a lunch or snack.
$40 sponsors, $50 for non sponsors.
