January 12th – February 28th, 2026. Annual Wethersfield Winter Lights Contest

All Wethersfield Business located in the commercial zones are invited to enter the 2nd Annual Winter Light Contest to help brighten commercial districts during the darker hours of the winter season with winter themed lighting. A total of $2,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to participants in the following categories: Winter Wonderland, Classic Wethersfield and Fun and Creative. Prizes will be matched with a contribution to a Wethersfield Charity!
- Winter Wonderland – $500 Award/$500 to Local Charity
- Classic Wethersfield – $250 Award/$250 to Local Charity
- Fun & Creative – $250 Award / $250 to Local Charity
(Local Charity must be a 501c3 Organization. The Wethersfield Food Bank also qualifies.)
Entry Forms must be completed by January 12th to be a participant who will be reviewed by the judges. There is no fee for entry. A minimum of 10 participating businesses are required to move forward with the program.
