Join us for a reenactment of the life of James “Professor Jim” Williams on Thursday, February 13th at 6:30 p.m. Kevin Johnson of the Connecticut State Library will portray William’s. Learn about “Professor Jim’s” early life in New York, his escape from enslavement, his adventure on the high seas, his battle in the War of 1812, and the fifty years he spent at Trinity College as a janitor where he became a beloved, respected figure.
