Broad Street Green Walking Tour

November 24th, 1:30pm. WHS presents A Walking Tour of the Historic Broad Street Green

Join tour guides Dorene Ciarcia (Wethersfield Historical Society) and Betty Standish (Wethersfield Village Improvement Association) on a guided walk around the northern half of Wethersfield’s bucolic Broad Street Green. Learn about the historic houses, notable trees, and long ago residents who called the Green home.

The tour will assemble at the kiosk on Constitution Way at 1:15 pm. Registration is requested, but not required. Call Wethersfield Historical Society at (860) 529-7656 or email society@wethersfieldhistory.org to reserve your space. A suggested donation of $10 is payable on the day of the walk. Admission includes a Walking Tour Map and refreshments at the tour’s end. As the walk lasts for an hour and a half, wear comfortable shoes. This event is free for current members of Wethersfield Historical Society and Wethersfield Village Improvement Association Due to the nominal amount of the donation, only cash or check will be accepted.
